1. Overview

CostLoop Pro is billed on a monthly basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time - there are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees. This page explains how cancellation works and what to expect regarding charges and data.

When you subscribe to CostLoop Pro, you agree to the following terms. At checkout, you'll see the consent statement: "By subscribing, you agree to CostLoop's Terms and Conditions, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and acknowledge the Privacy Policy."

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time using either of the following methods:

  • In-app: Sign in to app.costloop.app → Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
  • By email: Send a cancellation request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 2 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.

3. What Happens When You Cancel

Cancelling your Pro subscription does not immediately remove your access. Here is what happens:

  • Access continues until the end of your current billing period. You paid for that period and you keep full Pro access until it ends.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation. Your subscription will not renew.
  • At the end of the billing period, your account will automatically move to the Free plan. You will retain access to your 1 subscription; additional subscriptions will be read-only until you either upgrade again or remove entries to meet the Free plan limit.
  • Your data is retained on the Free plan. If you delete your account, data is permanently removed within 30 days.

4. Refunds

We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel, your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for - this is your benefit for the charge already made.

Exceptions: If you believe a charge was made in error - for example, if you were charged after cancelling or charged an incorrect amount - please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge. We will review your case and issue a refund if the charge was indeed made in error.

Refunds, if approved, are processed back to your original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

5. Free Plan

The Free plan has no cost. There are no charges to cancel, and no action is required to remain on the Free plan. Simply do not upgrade to Pro, or cancel your Pro subscription as described above.

6. Plan Changes (Downgrading)

If you downgrade from Pro to Free (by cancelling your Pro subscription), the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of the billing period. Your account will transition to the Free plan automatically when the period ends.

If you wish to upgrade from Free to Pro at any time, you can do so from Settings → Billing in the app. Your Pro access begins immediately upon successful payment.
