The CostLoop SaaS affiliate program is now open to agency owners, freelancers, consultants, finance creators, and SaaS or productivity bloggers who recommend practical business software. If your audience wants better visibility into recurring software costs, renewal dates, invoices, seats, owners, and cancellation details, you can now introduce them to CostLoop and earn commission when they become paying customers.
This is designed as a straightforward software affiliate program. You receive a unique referral link, share it with an audience that could genuinely benefit from CostLoop, and earn 20% of eligible net subscription revenue for as long as each validly referred customer remains on an eligible paid subscription.
There is no promise of guaranteed income. Results depend on your audience, content, traffic, and whether referred users decide CostLoop is right for them. The best fit is someone who already creates useful content about SaaS, finance, productivity, agency operations, freelancing, or small-business systems.
What is CostLoop?
CostLoop is subscription tracking and SaaS spend management software for freelancers, agencies, startups, and small-to-medium businesses. It gives teams one place to track recurring software costs, upcoming renewal dates, subscription owners, invoices, license seats, and cancellation information.
That makes CostLoop relevant to audiences that regularly buy or recommend business software. A consultant can help clients organise their software stack. An agency owner can share a practical system for tracking client and internal tools. A finance creator can explain how recurring expenses affect a small-business budget. A SaaS blogger can include CostLoop in a guide about subscription management, renewal tracking, or software cost control.
You can review the current CostLoop features, compare plans on the pricing page, or see how the subscription manager works before deciding whether the product suits your audience.
Who should join?
The program is open to applicants whose content and audience align with CostLoop. It may be especially useful for:
- Agencies that advise clients on marketing, operations, finance, technology, or productivity tools.
- Consultants who help small businesses improve processes, reduce software waste, or build a clearer technology stack.
- Freelancers who publish tool recommendations, tutorials, newsletters, templates, or client resources.
- SaaS and productivity bloggers looking for relevant affiliate programs for bloggers rather than unrelated consumer offers.
- Finance creators who teach budgeting, expense management, cash-flow planning, or operational discipline.
- Community owners and educators serving founders, startups, independent professionals, and small-business teams.
You do not need the largest audience. Relevance and trust matter more than broad reach. A focused newsletter for agency operators may produce more useful referrals than a large general-interest audience with no connection to business software.
How CostLoop affiliate commissions work
When an approved affiliate shares their unique referral link, CostLoop uses the associated referral code to attribute eligible signups. If a referred user becomes a paying customer, the affiliate earns 20% of eligible net subscription revenue for as long as that customer remains on an eligible paid subscription. CostLoop does not set a fixed commission-duration or total earnings cap.
Eligible net revenue is the subscription payment CostLoop receives after subtracting applicable refunds, taxes, chargebacks, discounts, credits, and Stripe or other payment-processing fees. The commission is therefore a percentage of eligible net revenue, not a flat $20 payment and not always 20% of the advertised plan price.
Each commission is held for 30 days after the customer payment. The hold allows time for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, and attribution review. Once the hold period ends and the payment remains eligible, the commission becomes available.
Payouts run monthly through Stripe Connect when the affiliate has at least USD $50 in available commission. A balance below $50 carries forward until the threshold is reached. Bank arrival times can vary after CostLoop initiates a payout.
CostLoop may hold, reverse, delay, reduce, or cancel commissions connected to refunds, payment disputes, chargebacks, suspected fraud, self-referrals, inaccurate information, manipulated attribution, or violations of the Affiliate Program Terms.

Apply to become an affiliateEthical ways to promote CostLoop
Useful affiliate content should help someone make a sound decision even if they do not click immediately. The strongest approach is to explain the problem CostLoop solves, show the relevant workflow, and clearly disclose that you may receive a commission.
- Publish a practical tutorial. Show readers how to create a software inventory, assign owners, collect invoices, and review renewal dates.
- Create a transparent review. Explain who CostLoop is for, which features you tested, and any limitations your audience should consider.
- Add CostLoop to a relevant resource page. It can fit naturally in a curated list of tools for freelancers, agency operations, startup finance, or SaaS cost management.
- Share a real workflow. Demonstrate how you organise your own recurring software costs or prepare for annual renewals.
- Teach before recommending. A newsletter about forgotten renewals or unused seats can give readers useful advice before introducing the product.
- Recommend it directly to suitable clients. Consultants and agencies can share the referral link when a client needs a dedicated subscription tracker.
Always disclose your affiliate relationship where required. Do not make false claims, promise savings or earnings, send spam, hide referral links, use cookie stuffing, create self-referrals, or present yourself as CostLoop. Honest recommendations protect your audience and create better long-term referrals.
Why consider this SaaS affiliate program?
Many affiliate offers are disconnected from the content around them. CostLoop is different for creators who already discuss business software, recurring expenses, agency operations, SaaS management, or productivity. The product solves a specific operational problem, and the referral can sit naturally inside genuinely useful advice.
The recurring commission model reflects how subscription software works. If a valid referred customer continues paying, eligible commission can continue without a fixed duration cap instead of ending after the initial payment or first year. That does not make earnings automatic: commissions remain subject to payment status, the 30-day hold, the $50 payout threshold, and the program terms.
For people researching recurring commission affiliate programs or SaaS partner programs, those details matter. CostLoop publishes the rate, eligibility period, deductions, hold period, payout threshold, and payment method so applicants can evaluate the offer before joining.
CostLoop affiliate program FAQ
How long does affiliate approval take?
Many applications are reviewed within a few minutes or hours. Review time can vary, and submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
How are affiliates paid?
Approved affiliates receive payouts through Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe onboarding and maintain valid payout information before receiving funds.
What happens if I have less than $50 available?
Your available balance carries forward. CostLoop processes monthly payouts only after you have at least USD $50 available.
What happens when a customer receives a refund?
Refunded revenue is excluded from eligible net subscription revenue. The associated commission may be reduced, held, reversed, or cancelled. The same principle applies to chargebacks, disputes, fraud, and policy violations.
How long do commissions last?
Commission eligibility continues for as long as the referred customer remains on an eligible paid CostLoop subscription. There is no fixed commission-duration cap, but commissions stop when the customer stops paying or the revenue is otherwise ineligible.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, manipulated attribution, and other attempts to manufacture commission are not eligible.
