Quick answer
Tradify cost in the United States currently starts at $47 USD per user per month for Lite. Pro costs $51/user/month, Plus costs $61/user/month, and Custom pricing is available by request for larger teams with specific needs.
Tradify also offers a 14-day free trial with all features available during the trial. The live pricing page lists an optional Instant Website add-on at $12/month in the U.S. Payment-processing costs can sit outside the software subscription when you use online card payments, and pricing varies by region rather than being a simple currency conversion of the U.S. rate.
The most important pricing detail is the unusually small gap between the public plans. Pro is only $4 more per user per month than Lite, while Plus is $10 more per user per month than Pro. For a five-person team, moving from Lite to Pro adds just $20/month, while moving from Pro to Plus adds $50/month. That makes feature fit more important than headline price alone.
Key takeaways
- U.S. Tradify pricing currently starts at $47/user/month for Lite, $51/user/month for Pro, and $61/user/month for Plus.
- Custom is a sales-led option for larger teams and includes the Plus feature set.
- Tradify is fundamentally per-user software, so headcount is the main recurring cost driver for most small trade businesses.
- The Lite-to-Pro jump is only $4/user/month. The Pro-to-Plus jump is $10/user/month.
- The 14-day free trial includes all features, which makes it possible to test higher-tier workflows before choosing a paid plan.
- The Instant Website add-on is currently $12/month in the U.S. and has different local prices in other regions.
- Tradify says team pricing options are available, so larger teams should not assume list-price multiplication is their best possible price.
- Monthly subscriptions are prorated when user counts or plans change. Annual billing is also available, but the current U.S. pricing page does not publish a universal annual discount.
- Online payment processing can add cost outside the Tradify license. Model it separately using the actual payment rate that applies to your account and country.
- One unused Plus seat costs $732/year at the current U.S. list rate, so seat hygiene matters even for relatively small teams.

Methodology and disclosure
Pricing verification. This article is based primarily on Tradify's current official U.S., UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand pricing pages, plus current Tradify Help Centre billing documentation, reviewed on September 4, 2026. Where Tradify publishes a concrete price, this guide uses it. Where a rate is not publicly shown, this guide does not invent one.
Conflict disclosure. CostLoop publishes this guide and operates in recurring software cost, license and renewal tracking. CostLoop is not job-management software and does not replace Tradify. Tradify runs trade-business workflows such as jobs, schedules, quoting, invoicing and field administration. CostLoop helps businesses keep the commercial record around software subscriptions visible: cost, owner, billing cycle, renewal date, documents and usage context.

Tradify pricing in 2026
For new U.S. buyers, Tradify currently publishes three standard per-user plans plus a Custom option for larger teams.
Freshness note: Tradify's current live pricing page shows four purchase options: Lite, Pro, Plus and Custom. Some older Help Centre pages still describe only three plans and mention a legacy Classic plan for existing customers. For a new 2026 purchase, use the live pricing page and your written quote as the source of truth.
| Plan | Current U.S. Price | Best Fit | Key Cost Point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $47/user/month | Solo contractors and small teams needing core job, schedule, quote and invoice workflows | Lowest public per-seat price |
| Pro | $51/user/month | Professional trade businesses needing job costing, timesheets, reminders and subcontractor scheduling | Only $4/user/month more than Lite |
| Plus | $61/user/month | Teams needing advanced operational control, AI tools, POs, tasks and reporting | +$10/user/month over Pro |
| Custom | Price by request | Large teams with specific commercial or support needs | Ask for team pricing rather than multiplying list price |

What does Tradify cost per year?
At the public monthly U.S. rates, one continuously active seat annualizes to:
| Plan | Monthly Price | Annualized Cost Per User |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | $47 | $564/year |
| Pro | $51 | $612/year |
| Plus | $61 | $732/year |
These are simple annualized calculations from twelve monthly charges. They are not the same thing as Tradify's separate annual-billing offer, because Tradify does not currently publish one universal annual price or discount on the live U.S. pricing page.
The plan gaps are smaller than they look
This is the core economic insight for Tradify. If a Pro-only workflow saves even a small amount of admin time each month, the $4 per-user difference can be easy to justify. The Plus decision requires a stronger value case, but even there the difference is often smaller than the cost of one missed bill, poorly tracked purchase order, or repeated manual process.
Tradify Lite: $47 per user per month
Lite is the entry-level plan for contractors that want the core operational system without the deeper costing, timesheet and advanced administration features in Pro and Plus.
Job management, notes and tracking; scheduling and Google Calendar sync; quoting and invoicing; pricing and markups; online and credit-card payments; email tracking; accounting sync with Xero and QuickBooks Online on the U.S. pricing page.
Who should choose Lite?
A solo tradesperson moving away from paper, spreadsheets or disconnected apps; a very small crew that mainly needs scheduling, jobs, quoting and invoicing; a business that does not yet need formal job-cost tracking, timesheets or advanced invoice workflows; a team that wants to test Tradify at the lowest recurring seat cost.
When Lite becomes too limited
The Lite-to-Pro upgrade is unusually cheap. If you need costing and bill tracking, timesheets, subcontractor scheduling, quote/invoice templates or progress invoicing, staying on Lite to save $4 per user per month can be false economy.
Tradify Pro: $51 per user per month
Pro is the most economically interesting plan because it sits only $4 per user per month above Lite while adding workflows that directly affect how a trade business tracks labour, costs and cash collection.
Progress invoicing for deposits, progress payments and retentions; quote and invoice reminders; reusable quote and invoice templates; costing and bill tracking; timesheets; subcontractor scheduling; the core Lite job, schedule, quote and invoice workflows.
Why Pro can be the value sweet spot
For five paid users, Pro costs $255/month compared with $235/month for Lite. That is a $20 monthly difference across the whole five-person team. If timesheets, cost tracking or automated reminders save even one administrative hour per month, the financial case can already be strong.
Tradify Plus: $61 per user per month
Plus adds the operational and automation features intended for teams that want more control than basic job tracking and invoicing.
SmartRead for Bills, which uses AI to capture bill costs; SmartWrite for generating and improving written descriptions; service reminders; job tasks; purchase orders; bulk invoicing; kit bundles for parts and labour; staff activity history; job service reports; reporting.
When Plus is worth the cost
Purchase orders are part of your normal workflow; you invoice many jobs in batches; you need service reminders for recurring maintenance work; managers need stronger activity history and reporting; your team can use SmartRead or SmartWrite enough to reduce repetitive admin; kit bundles materially speed up quoting for repeatable jobs.
When Plus is probably overkill
You are a solo contractor with a simple quote-to-invoice workflow; you rarely create purchase orders; you do not run scheduled service/maintenance work; you will not use the AI features or advanced reports; the team still needs to fix basic adoption of jobs, schedules and timesheets first.
Tradify Custom pricing
Tradify's current pricing page now includes a Custom option for large teams with specific needs. The public page does not show a fixed dollar price. It directs buyers to contact Tradify and says the Custom plan includes the full Plus feature set.
That matters because several older Tradify Help Centre pages still describe only Lite, Pro and Plus. The live pricing page is the better source for current new-buyer packaging.
When to ask for Custom or team pricing
You have enough users that straight list-price multiplication becomes a meaningful annual contract; you are rolling Tradify out across multiple crews or branches; you need commercial terms that differ from a normal month-to-month purchase; you want to know whether Tradify's published team-pricing options reduce effective cost per user; you need implementation, support or commercial requirements documented before rollout.
Tradify's own feature pages say team pricing options can offer better value per user per month. There is no public user-count threshold, so ask before you assume the standard list price is your final quote.
Tradify cost for 1, 3, 5 and 10 users
Because Tradify is priced per user, team size is the main recurring cost lever. The table below uses current U.S. list pricing and simple monthly annualization.
| Users | Lite/month | Pro/month | Plus/month | Lite/year | Pro/year | Plus/year |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $47 | $51 | $61 | $564 | $612 | $732 |
| 3 | $141 | $153 | $183 | $1,692 | $1,836 | $2,196 |
| 5 | $235 | $255 | $305 | $2,820 | $3,060 | $3,660 |
| 10 | $470 | $510 | $610 | $5,640 | $6,120 | $7,320 |
These are list-rate calculations, not guaranteed quotes. Large teams should ask about Custom/team pricing before budgeting from the table alone.
Upgrade cost between plans
| Upgrade | Extra Per User/Month | Extra Per User/Year | Extra for 5 Users/Year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite → Pro | $4 | $48 | $240 |
| Pro → Plus | $10 | $120 | $600 |
| Lite → Plus | $14 | $168 | $840 |
Buying rule: Do not compare Pro with Lite by counting features. Compare the $4/user/month uplift against the specific admin work, billing delay or job-cost visibility the Pro features can replace.
The cost of unused Tradify seats
Per-user pricing turns inactive accounts into direct waste. At current U.S. list rates: one unused Lite seat = $47/month or $564/year; one unused Pro seat = $51/month or $612/year; one unused Plus seat = $61/month or $732/year; two unused Plus seats = $122/month or $1,464/year.
If you manage Tradify alongside other per-seat tools, CostLoop's License Tracking Software guide explains why purchased, assigned and actively used seats should be tracked separately.
Tradify pricing varies by country
Tradify does not simply convert one U.S. dollar price at the live exchange rate. It publishes localized price points and add-ons. That means a useful Tradify cost guide must identify the region rather than quoting one number globally.
| Region | Lite | Pro | Plus | Instant Website |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | $47 USD | $51 USD | $61 USD | $12/month |
| United Kingdom | £34 | £37 | £44 | £10/month |
| Ireland | €38 | €42 | €49 | €10/month |
| Australia | $48 AUD ex GST | $52 AUD ex GST | $62 AUD ex GST | $19/month |
| New Zealand | $48 NZD ex GST | $52 NZD ex GST | $62 NZD ex GST | $19/month |
All plan prices are per user per month and were checked on the respective Tradify regional pricing pages on September 4, 2026. Local taxes and payment costs may apply.
SMS charges are regional too
Tradify's current Help Centre says system-sent text messages are available in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The published per-message rates are currently $0.20 AUD in Australia, $0.20 NZD in New Zealand and £0.10 in the UK. Those charges can apply to appointment reminders, quote/invoice messages and reminder workflows.
Do not add an SMS budget for a region where the feature is not available. Use the pricing shown inside your Tradify subscription settings as the final source for your account.
Tradify add-ons and costs outside the base subscription
1. Instant Website
The current U.S. pricing page lists Instant Website at $12/month on Lite, Pro, Plus and Custom. The website can be a small flat add-on compared with seat costs, but its relative impact is highest for very small accounts.
2. Online payment processing
Tradify supports online/credit-card payments, including Stripe-related workflows in official product material. The software pricing page does not publish one universal card-processing percentage as part of the Tradify license. Treat processing as a separate variable and use the actual rate in your payment account.
3. Accounting software
Tradify integrates with accounting products such as Xero and QuickBooks Online. Those products remain separate subscriptions. An integration can remove duplicate entry without removing the accounting software bill itself.
4. Third-party tools you do not actually replace
The most common hidden-cost mistake is buying Tradify while keeping separate tools for scheduling, timesheets, quoting, forms or job tracking simply because nobody owns consolidation. CostLoop's Hidden SaaS Costs guide explains how duplicate tools and feature overlap distort the real subscription budget.
Instant Website's relative cost impact
| Example | Base Subscription | With U.S. Instant Website | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-user Lite | $47/month | $59/month | 25.5% |
| 5-user Lite | $235/month | $247/month | 5.1% |
| 5-user Plus | $305/month | $317/month | 3.9% |
Can subcontractors increase Tradify license cost?
Not every subcontractor interaction necessarily requires another full paid Tradify user. Tradify's Connections feature lets you send appointment and job information to subcontractors and lets connections view limited appointment/profile information. Tradify says the Connections feature itself is included with the subscription.
That can matter financially for businesses that coordinate external subcontractors but do not need every contractor to use the full Tradify feature set. The exact access model should be tested against your workflow before you buy extra seats.
Seat-control opportunity: Do not automatically buy a full license for every external contractor. First confirm whether the included Connections workflow provides enough access for that person's role.
Monthly vs annual Tradify billing
Monthly billing
Tradify's current billing-terms article says monthly subscriptions are prorated. If you change user count or change plans during the month, Tradify charges for the actual time on each configuration rather than forcing a full extra month at the new rate.
That makes monthly billing operationally flexible for teams whose headcount changes regularly.
Annual billing
Tradify says annual pricing is available, but the live U.S. pricing page does not currently show one universal public annual discount. Do not invent an annual rate from old promotions or third-party screenshots.
Tradify's annual-billing Help Centre FAQ says yearly users pay in advance, additional users are prorated at the yearly rate, and the user count cannot be reduced until the annual cycle ends. It also says annual charges are not refunded if you cancel partway through the cycle. Because that FAQ is older than the current pricing page, confirm the exact annual offer and renewal terms in writing before paying upfront.
For the broader decision framework, see CostLoop's Annual vs Monthly SaaS Billing guide.
Real Tradify cost scenarios
Scenario 1: solo tradesperson on Lite
1 Lite user: $47/month. Annualized subscription: $564/year. Optional Instant Website: +$144/year. Total with website: $708/year before payment fees and taxes.
Lite is the cheapest straightforward entry point if the business mainly needs jobs, calendar, quotes, invoices and accounting sync.
Scenario 2: three-person crew on Pro
3 Pro users: $153/month. Annualized subscription: $1,836/year. Optional Instant Website: +$144/year. Total with website: $1,980/year before payment fees and taxes.
The same three-person crew on Lite would cost $1,692/year. Pro therefore adds $144/year across all three users. If timesheets and costing are real operational requirements, that is a small incremental cost.
Scenario 3: five-person trade business on Plus
5 Plus users: $305/month. Annualized subscription: $3,660/year. Optional Instant Website: +$144/year. Total with website: $3,804/year before payment fees and taxes.
A five-user Pro account is $3,060/year, so Plus adds $600/year. The business should be able to name which Plus-only workflows will recover that $600 through faster billing, lower admin time, tighter purchase-order control or better recurring service management.
Scenario 4: ten-person team
Lite list-rate math: $470/month / $5,640 per year. Pro list-rate math: $510/month / $6,120 per year. Plus list-rate math: $610/month / $7,320 per year.
At ten users, do not stop at list-price math. Tradify publishes Custom and team-pricing options. Ask sales whether a team rate is available and compare the effective per-user cost with the public plan total.
Tradify pricing vs larger construction-management platforms
Tradify is easier to budget than many construction-management platforms because its standard plans expose a simple per-user list price. That is materially different from products such as Buildertrend and Procore.
Buildertrend currently uses custom company-level pricing with unlimited users/projects, while Procore pricing is largely driven by selected products and Annual Construction Volume rather than a normal per-seat rate. If you are comparing Tradify with a broader construction platform, also review CostLoop's Buildertrend Pricing 2026 guide.
The buying question is therefore not simply which monthly number is lower. It is whether you need a trades-focused job-management tool or a wider construction operating platform, and how many separate systems the new product will actually replace.
Which Tradify plan should you choose?
Choose Lite when you need core jobs, scheduling, quoting and invoicing; the team is small and workflows are straightforward; you do not need formal timesheets or deeper costing; the lowest recurring seat cost is a priority.
Choose Pro when job costing and bill tracking matter; you need timesheets; progress invoicing is part of your billing model; automated quote/invoice reminders can reduce chasing; you coordinate subcontractors regularly; the $4/user/month uplift over Lite is easily justified by admin savings.
Choose Plus when purchase orders are operationally important; you run recurring service/maintenance reminders; you need task assignment, bulk invoicing or kit bundles; managers need staff activity history and stronger reporting; SmartRead or SmartWrite can materially reduce repetitive admin.
Ask for Custom when your team is large enough that a negotiated rate matters; you are deploying across several crews or branches; you need a commercial package beyond standard self-serve buying; you want formal team pricing rather than list-rate multiplication.
What not to do when buying Tradify
Do not buy Plus because "it has everything." That is lazy procurement. Buy Plus because you can identify Plus-only workflows that will be used and can defend the annual uplift across the full user count.
Do not give every occasional collaborator a paid seat by default. Test whether Connections or another limited workflow covers external subcontractors before adding permanent licenses.
Do not compare only the subscription line. Include website, text-message charges where available, online payment fees, accounting subscriptions and any duplicate software that remains after rollout.
Do not commit annually before seat count is stable. Tradify's annual FAQ says user reductions are restricted during the annual cycle. If your team is changing rapidly, monthly flexibility can be more valuable than an annual discount.
Do not leave inactive users until renewal. On a monthly plan, remove or reassign seats as soon as someone leaves or stops needing Tradify. CostLoop's Software License Inventory guide provides a practical model for separating purchased seats, assignments and actual usage.
How to decide whether Tradify is worth the cost
The best decision metric is not "is $51 per user expensive?" It is whether Tradify removes enough administrative cost, billing delay, coordination work and duplicate software to justify the total annual spend.
1. Calculate your full annual cost
Annual Tradify TCO = (plan price x paid users x 12) + add-ons + payment fees + SMS charges + retained third-party tools + rollout/training cost
2. Calculate software replacement value
Separate scheduling/calendar tools, standalone quoting or invoicing apps, timesheet software, job-cost spreadsheets or specialist tools, purchase-order tools, service reminder systems, basic job/project trackers.
Only count software you will genuinely cancel. "Tradify can replace it" is not savings if your business keeps paying for both.
3. Put a value on administrative time
Measure current hours spent each month on quote creation, invoice chasing, timesheet consolidation, bill entry, scheduling changes and purchase-order administration. Multiply that by the real loaded hourly cost of the people doing the work.
4. Review the economics at renewal
Store the current price, paid users, renewal/billing date and documents in one place. CostLoop's Renewal Tracker and Software Budget Template provide the basic commercial-control workflow.

How CostLoop fits with Tradify
CostLoop does not replace Tradify. Tradify manages the operational work of a trade business. CostLoop manages the recurring software-cost record around the broader stack.
A trade business might use CostLoop to track Tradify alongside Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Adobe, a phone system, design/estimating software, safety/compliance tools and other recurring services: current subscription cost, billing cycle, paid user count, owner, renewal or next review date, invoice and contract links, cancellation path, notes on team pricing or add-ons.

Lite is the cheapest current standard U.S. plan at $47 per user per month.
What is Tradify Pro pricing?
Tradify Pro currently costs $51 USD per user per month in the United States.
What is Tradify Plus pricing?
Tradify Plus currently costs $61 USD per user per month in the United States.
Does Tradify charge per user?
Yes. The public Lite, Pro and Plus pricing is stated per user per month. Larger teams can ask about Custom or team pricing.
Does Tradify have a free trial?
Yes. Tradify currently offers a 14-day free trial, and the pricing page says the trial includes all features.
Does Tradify offer annual billing?
Yes. Tradify says annual pricing is available, but the live U.S. pricing page does not currently publish one universal annual rate. Confirm the current annual quote and terms directly with Tradify.
Can I cancel Tradify monthly?
Tradify describes its normal monthly subscription as month-to-month with no long-term commitment, and monthly billing is prorated. Annual subscriptions have different prepayment and refund conditions.
How much is the Tradify Instant Website add-on?
The current U.S. pricing page lists Instant Website at $12 per month. Regional prices differ.
Are payment-processing fees included in Tradify pricing?
The base software price does not provide one universal published processing percentage. If you accept card payments, include the actual payment-processing rate that applies to your account and country in your total-cost model.
Which Tradify plan is best for a small trade business?
Lite works for simple job, schedule, quote and invoice workflows. Pro is often the stronger value when costing, timesheets, reminders or subcontractor scheduling matter because it is only $4 per user per month more than Lite.
Which Tradify plan includes AI features?
Tradify's current pricing page positions SmartTools such as SmartRead for Bills and SmartWrite on the Plus plan.
Does Tradify have a plan for large teams?
Yes. The current live pricing page shows a Custom option for larger teams with specific needs and directs buyers to contact sales.
Final verdict
Tradify is relatively easy to budget compared with many construction and field-service platforms because its standard U.S. plans publish clear per-user prices. The current decision is not between wildly different price points: Lite is $47, Pro is $51, and Plus is $61 per user per month.
That small spread changes the buying logic. Pro is often worth serious consideration even for small teams because the uplift over Lite is only $4 per user per month. Plus needs a clearer workflow case, but its $10 per-user premium over Pro can still be justified when purchase orders, service reminders, bulk invoicing, advanced reporting or AI-assisted administration are used consistently.
Do not stop at the plan table. Model every paid user, the Instant Website add-on, regional SMS charges, payment fees, accounting subscriptions and the tools Tradify will or will not replace. Then review the paid seat count continuously, especially if you choose an annual term.
For larger teams, ask about Custom and team pricing before multiplying the public list rate across every employee. The best Tradify cost is not the lowest plan price. It is the lowest total cost that still supports the workflows your team will actually use.
