How to Cancel Your Calendly Subscription
A clear guide to downgrading or cancelling your Calendly paid plan - what happens to your booking links and event types, which meetings are affected, and what the free plan covers.
Before You Cancel Calendly
Three things to check before you start the Calendly cancellation process.
- Check what booking links you have shared. On the free plan, you are limited to 1 active event type. If you have shared multiple booking links with clients or embedded them in your website, those links will stop working for event types beyond the free limit. Update or remove those links before downgrading.
- Review any upcoming scheduled meetings. Cancelling your plan does not cancel meetings already booked. Meetings scheduled before the downgrade will still appear in your calendar. Only new bookings will be affected by the plan change.
- For Teams plans, only account owners can cancel. Check your role before attempting to access billing settings.

CostLoop is a free subscription tracker that gives you one dashboard for every tool you pay for - renewal dates, costs, owners, and cancellation links all in one place. What happens to my Calendly booking links after I cancel?
On the free plan, only 1 active event type is allowed. All event types beyond the first will be deactivated, and booking links for those event types will stop working. People trying to book via a deactivated link will see an error. Update any websites or signatures using those links before cancelling.
Does Calendly offer refunds when you cancel?
Calendly does not offer prorated refunds on annual plans. Your access continues until the subscription end date after cancellation. Monthly subscriptions stop renewing at the end of the current period. Contact Calendly support for billing disputes.
What does the Calendly free plan include?
The free Calendly plan includes 1 active event type, unlimited 1-on-1 meetings, basic calendar integration with one calendar connection, and automated email notifications. It does not include group events, collective meetings, round robin scheduling, workflows (automated reminders), or payment collection via Stripe or PayPal.
Will meetings already booked through Calendly be cancelled if I downgrade?
No. Meetings that are already confirmed and on your calendar will not be cancelled when you downgrade. The plan change only affects the ability to receive new bookings through deactivated event types. Existing scheduled meetings proceed as normal.
